A karasu tengu hatching from its cracked egg, the bottom carved with a maple leaf, an oak leaf, and pine needles in fine line engraving, one cord hole in the shape of a ginkgo leaf. The tengu’s cap of black wood. One cord hole lined with green-stained bone. Signed Shûmin with kaô.
