A large Kyoto school ivory netsuke of Gama Sennin. Second half 18th century

Standing on one foot, the other leg raised, the sennin supports a huge three-legged toad on his shoulder, his robes engraved with a cloud pattern. The eye pupils of the toad of brownish-black horn.
