Elizabeth Cooke - biography

Elizabeth Cooke was the widow of the silversmith Samuel Cooke who assigned her in his will from 17 July 1763 as sole heiress and executrix. Almost nothing is known of her life, with her mark registered on 24 January 1764. She must have lived until at least 23 September 1773 as she is also mentioned in the will of her brother-in-law Edward Cooke as a beneficiary. Elizabeth Cooke lived in London.
