A LIMOGE ENGRAVED AND ENAMALED COPPER BOARD OF A RELIQUIARY

Kupfer, Email mit Verlusten, auf Holzplatte

A Limoge engraved and enamaled copper pedimented board. A mounting for the front of a wooden reliquiary with supporting legs in the form of a house. The graved depiction of a standing Saint is surrounded by a red pointed oval in enamel. The blue surface ornamented with roses in a different colour.
The enamel with losses. Mounted on a wooden panel covered with velvet. 17.5 x 8.5 cm.
