An earthenware vesper image after a 17th century model

Pale green crazed glaze, remains of polychrome cold decor. A pietà worked in the round. The crowned Madonna is seated on a high backed chair and holds Christ's right hand. His body is lain in her lap with legs bent. One of Mary's feet, both of Christ's feet and the tips of the backrest broken, a horizontal crack to Mary's right arm. H 29 cm.
