A bronze figure of Budai, also called Milefo, seated at ease with one knee raised on a flat cushion, the robes open to reveal his full belly, holding a strand of prayer beads in one hand and clutching his sack with the other. On the head a crown decorated with figures in openwork, six small boys clamber around his body. Traces of gilded lacquer. Ming dynasty.
