A four-case inrô with a phoenix to each side on a ground of lozenges filled with kiri-mon in hiramakie on a black ground. Nashiji to the inside. Some damage. 18th/19th century. Ivory netsuke of Hotei shouldering a staff from which his bag and a karako are hanging.
