A bronze figure of Milefo, also called Budai. Dated 1636

A bronze figure of Milefo, also called Budai, seated at ease with one knee raised and leaning back on a six-cornered base, holding a strand of prayer beads in one hand and placing the other hand on his bag, the robe opens to reveal his belly. Inscription at the front of the base: Chongzhen, first year (1628), eleventh month, made on an auspicious day, and with a list of donor names at the back.
