A bronze figure of Milefo, also called Budai, seated at ease on a cushion-like base with an engraved pattern of flower-filled hexagons, with one knee raised, holding a strand of prayer beads in one hand and grabbing his bag with auspicious objects with the other, the robe opens to reveal his full belly. Black lacquer patina with faint traces of gilding. Ming dynasty.
