A gilt-bronze figure of Milefo, also called Budai, seated at ease on a cushion-like base with an engraved pattern of interlocking circles, with one knee raised, holding a strand of prayer beads in one hand and grabbing his bag with auspicious objects with the other, the robe opens to reveal his full belly. The gilding possibly of a later date, restoration to the crown. Late Ming dynasty.
