A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, seated in vajrasana on a double lotus base, with his right hand in bhumisparsa mudra, the vajra placed before him on the base refers to the time and geographic location where the Buddha reached enlightenment at Bodhgaya (Vajrasana), India. The hair coloured dark blue. Base closed. 15th/16th century.
