Cast in two connected parts. A portrait of the Lieutenant General dressed in the Uniform of the German Campaign with three orders. H 12.5, with pedestal 26.5 cm.
Attributed to the Fürstlich Dietrichsteinsche iron foundries in Ransko, after 1814.

Alexander Ivanovich Ostermann-Tolstoy (1772 - 1857) played an integral role in the Battle of Leipzig, defeating General Vandamme together with Friedrich Graf Kleist of Nollendorf and losing his left hand in the process.
