A Flemish painted ebony cabinet.

With painted decor on softwood to the interior. The brass mountings replaced, iron locks, ebony knobs. One door concealing nine drawers surrounding a central compartment. One drawer to the base and a folding compartment to the lid. The doors painted with mythological scenes, the left with Atlanta and Meleager hunting the Calydonian boar; the right with Granida and Daifilo; the centre with Diana and Mercury. The drawer fronts painted with landscapes and peasant motifs. Overpainted, with subsequent shrinkage cracks to the sides. H 56, W 53.5, D 29 cm.
