A late 17th century Flemish carved wooden figure of a putto with a telescope.

Carved in the round, minor remains of former polychromy. A nude figure of a putto standing in contrapposto, wearing a cloth draped over its shoulder and holding a loosely attached but original telescope in its raised hands.
With minor wear. Mounted on a modern wooden socle. Height 52 cm (without base).
