A bamboo kiseruzutsu. Second half 19th century

A bamboo kiseruzutsu of musô-zutsu-type, carved in sunken relief with a shackled and shouting oni, further bound with an inlaid rattan strip, on the lid the wild face of Shôki with a windswept beard. Signed Sôkoku with kaô. Two fine horizontal cracks. Second half 19th century.
