Katana, blade length 71.2 cm, shinogi-zukuri, bôhi on both sides over the full length, suguha hamon, dense mokume hada, nakago: suriage, three mekugi-ana, mumei, copper habaki with Yasurime. Very good state of polish. 16th century.

Koshirae: Tsuba of iron with chrysanthemums and leaves in marubori and with Higo-style gold nunome; fuchi-kashira, kurigata, kojiri and koiguchi of iron with kiri blossoms and leaves in Higo-style gold nunome; menuki: shakuhachi and bamboo flute in copper and gold; light beige-coloured binding over same, saya: red and black mottled lacquer with kiri blossoms and leaves in black hiramakie. Sageo and brocade bag. 19th century
