A red lacquer zushi with Amida Nyorai. 19th century

A red lacquer zushi with a lacquered and gilded wood figure of Amida Nyorai standing on a double lotus on a rocky base surrounded by clouds, both hands in raigoin, the hair painted blue, behind the figure a mandorla and a silk brocade curtain. The two doors with aoi-mon in makie and chased gilded copper fittings. Small restorations, the tip of the aureole missing. 19th century.
