An Augsburg equatorial sundial. Brass case of octagonal form with rocaille decor. The iron plaque engraved to the reverse with various cities and their longitudes, and with the monogram "LTM" for the instrument maker Ludwig Theodat Müller (ca. 1710 - 1770). Diameter 5.5 cm; H when set up 6.5 cm.
