Italy early 17th century

An early 17th century Italian cast bronze Corpus Christi.

Cast in the round, engraved, chased and with old patina.. A fine quality, hollow cast Corpus Christi crucified with three nails, after prototypes found in the works of Giambologna (1529-1608).
Losses to the fingers, with an opening to the reverse, wear to the patina. Height 25 cm, span of arms 18.5 cm.
