Attributed to Ludwig Theodor Müller, mid-18th C.

Cf. Syndram, Wissenschaftliche Instrumente und Sonnenuhren. Stiftung Huelsmann, Munich 1989, no. 82 f. Syndram has discovered several sundials of this type made by Müller. In the course of his research into this talented compass maker and mechanic, born in Saalfeld in 1710, he also found pace counters, cannon fixtures and astronomical rings intended for the foreign market.
