A presumably German 14th century ivory figure of a saint

Carved in the round. A figure of a young, beardless saint designed for a frontal viewpoint. Presumably holding a book as an attribute. The gently swaying pose of the figure is accentuated by the drapery of the long robe and the cloak worn drawn across the body.
Toes lacking. Yellowed. Height 10 cm.
