Two probably Flemish 15th century carved ivory figures of apostles

Carved three-quarters in the round. With minimal remains of former, presumably partial, polychromy. Two full-figure depictions of bearded men shown facing towards each other and holding books. The pieces most probably represent apostles and would have belonged to a series of 12. They form a corresponding pair in their postures and drapery.
The head and feet reattached. Minimal wear and yellowing. Each 13 cm high.
