A Flemish wooden figure of Saint Anthony, circa 1520/1530

Carved in the round, the polychromy presumably 19th century. Standing figure of the saint in a monastic habit holding an open book in his left hand, the staff in his right hand lost. His attribute, the pig, can be seen at his feet.
The underside of the plinth with wooden supports. One of the pig's ears lost. Wear with losses to the polychromy. Height 83 cm.
