South German 18th century

An 18th century South German ivory figure of Saint Sebastian

Carved in two parts, the figure and tree loosely pegged together. A figure of the saint suffering his martyrdom bound to a tree stump.
Minimal losses to the fingers and toes, most of the arrows lost. Height 11 cm.
