A bronze tripod censer of compressed shape with two handles, a dragon roundel in relief inside with the characters Da Ming Xuande and an apocryphal six-character mark Xuande at the base. 17th/18th century.

Acquired by the mother of the present owner in the 1950s in China, thence by descent
