The interior gilt. With fine guilloche decor throughout and stripes to the sides. Applied with the gold initial "H". With concealed push button. In the original gilt embossed leather case marked "Cartier London". Stamped London assay mark for 1936, maker's mark "J.C", "Cartier London". Engraved dedication to the inside of the lid "From Bill and Susan 18 November 1942". 1.6 x 8.1 x 6.5 cm. Weight 134 g.
