Originally the lid of a box, with a fine depiction of figures amid the ruins of the Tempio del Sole in the Roman Campana (diameter 58 mm). Mounted on a velvet frame. Total diameter 8 cm.
In the manner of Giacomo Raffaelli (1753 - 1836), early 19th C.
