A Louis XV style lacquered secretary desk

With rosewood veneer and sparse ormolu mountings. The top of marble, the gilt embossed leather writing surface replaced. Of undulating Louis XV design with two doors to the lower section, a central fall concealing drawers and pidgeon holes, and a drawer to the upper part. The painting retouched, restored cracks, the lower right door slightly warped. H 155, W 96, D 40 cm.
