Interior gilt. Engraved with the arms of the Counts of Zichy-Vásonykeö. H 24.5 cm, total weight 3,405 g.

Count Karl I of Zichy-Vásonykeö (1753 - 1826) began his political career at a very young age. He became Illyrian court commission councillor at the Viennese court chamber when he was 22, president of the Hungarian court chamber in 1787, and highest representative of Hungarian jurisdiction (iudex curiae) one year later. He became Hungarian state minister in 1808, defense minister in 1809, and remained minister of the interior in Hungary from 1813 until his death in 1826.
