A carved wood high relief figure of Saint Mark, presumably Bavaria, circa 1700

Probably limewood, carved three-quarters in the round. With older, partially retouched polychromy and gilding.. With the lion as an attribute at the saint's feet.
One of the lion's paws lost, the hands presumably a later addition, minor wear. Height 65 cm.
