A bronze incense burner of tubular shape on three low integral feet with gold splash-like lighter spots. At the base within a recessed reserve a mark in relief reading Da Ming Xuande wu nian jiandu gongbu guan chen Wu Bangzuo zao (Made by Wu Bangzuo, supervisor of the Ministry of Works, in the 5th year of Xuande of the Great Ming). Ming dynasty.
