A turquoise and aubergine-glazed Zhenwu shrine, the Daoist deity seated inside, with two guardians standing outside below two dragons, and a smaller figure in the alcove above, a turtle entwined with a snake representing the North in front of Zhenwu, all beneath a double-eaved roof and set on a waisted pedestal base. 17th century.
