A Bengali black stone stele of Vishnu with four arms, standing on a tiny double lotus, flanked by Lashmi with a flywhisk and Sarasvati with a vina, in Vishnu's main hand a shankha, in the upper hands gada and chakra, over his arms a garland, on the back plate elephants, vyalas and makaras, the top broken, on the stepped plinth ornaments and devotees. Pala dynasty, 12th century. Wooden stand.
