A bronze figure of a golden pheasant, standing on a very thin snake and lowering his head toward the serpent. The feather of gold and shakudo, the head patinated red. Signed Seiya sei on an attached tablet. Late 19th century. Large wooden base with the paper label O.U. Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) 1930.
