An enamelled silver pendant in the Spanish Renaissance taste with a two-piece quartz capsule containing a miniature enamelled gold depiction of the flight into Egypt. Stamped Vienna fineness and assay mark for 1872 - 1922, maker's mark Hermann Böhm. H 5.5 cm. Weight 38.3 g.

The Vienna silversmith's workshop of Hermann Böhm was established in 1866 and specialised in historical revival styles, exhibiting "Bijouterie im antiken Styl" at the Vienna world fair to great acclaim in 1877.
