A Nuremberg embossed tin medal commemorating the Confederation of the Rhine

With relief busts of King Frederick August of Saxony and King Frederick of Württemberg to the front, and Emperor Napoleon and King Maximilian Joseph of Bavaria to the back. Containing 18 round, hand-coloured copperplate engravings commemorating the confederation victories of 1806 – 07, each inscribed. The insides of the lid and base inscribed "Unverwekliche Lorbeeren erkämpft auf den Gefilden des Ruhms von den Kayserl. französischen, König. baiernschen, würtembergischen sächsischen und alliertn Truppen". The medal with minor wear, the engravings in perfect condition. Diameter 5 cm.
