The handles of ebony. Comprising teapot, sugar box and spoon, milk jug, and a large ebony tray with an attached rechaud. H of teapot 26 cm, L of tray 52; W 39 cm, weight of vessels 1,796 g.
Marks of Berthold Hoffmann, 1990s.

Berthold Hoffmann received several prizes for his work, including the German Design Award in 2015 and the Bavarian State Prize in 2009. His works can be found in numerous public collections, such as the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt am Main and the Deutschen Historischen Museum in Berlin.
