A bulbous bronze vase with vertical ridges and a fine ishime texture to the surface. Cast mark Bôshû to the base. 20th century.
Height 17.2 cm

Yashima Bôshu (1925-2001) was born in Takaoka City in Toyama prefecture. He was a pupil of Katori Masahiko (1899-1988) and won prizes at the Nihon kogei-kai.
