A composite suit of armour: metal kabuto of suji bachi type, lacquered in the colour of russet-iron and black, black-lacquered mabizashi, multi-layered tehen no kanamono, copper-coloured shinodare, oni-gashira of polychromed wood, shikoro of three metal plates, lacquered black in sugake odoshi; menpô of ressei type, lacquered red inside and in the colour of russet-iron outside, moustache of animal hair; metal dô lacquered in the colour of russet iron, kote of iron plates, sode of iron mail of kaushin-gusari type, suneate of shino-type with iron plates. Wooden armour box with iron handles. Late 19th century.
