A quartz lidded vase. 19th century

With lion head handles between hanging leaves under a meander border. The flattened body carved with a continuous design of double gourd vines with leaves and flowers, both sides featuring a moth, larva on a leaf and a large cricket. The design continues on the lid and surmounted by a lion. Wooden stand.
