Two album leaves by an anonymous painter of the Tosa school, each displaying a fan painting depicting scenes from the Heike Monogatari, a) Minamoto Yorimasa shooting the nue, and b) samurai fighting in front of a bamboo fence. Ink, colours and gold on paper, the cardboard with gold leaf sprinkles and calligraphy. 18th/early 19th century.
