A late 17th century Flemish carved boxwood Corpus Christi

Carved in the round. A depiction of Christ crucified with three nails, his arms upstretched and his head leaning to one side in death. Both the body of Christ and the perizonium tied at his waist with a cord are exceptionally finely worked.
One finger lacking, a hairline crack to the chest. Mounted on plexiglass. Height 44 cm, width of arms 24 cm.
