Lithograph, hand-coloured with watercolours, on wove paper 7 x 7.1 cm (8.6 x 8.9 cm) Framed under glass. Unsigned. - Pencil inscriptions by an unknown hand verso, among others an older one partially in Sütterlin script, possibly by Paul Marc, the artist's brother: "Kunstm. Fr. Marc/1904/ Pasing". - Overall evenly browned, otherwise in good condition.
The polychrome hand colouring varies slightly in each proof, particularly in the depicted painter's palette. Coloured prints of the Exlibris are present in museums in Munich (Lenbachhaus), New York (Museum of Modern Art) and in Halle (Kracht Collection, Stiftung Mortizburg).
