An octagonal brown lacquer box with two compartments and a separate stand, inlaid with shimmering, colourful mother-of-pearl to the lid and the vertical sides with various flowering trees and plants growing from rocks. The borders above and below, the pierced foot and stand all decorated with peonies and vines. Damaged.
