An ivory and silver Shibayama tray. Late 19th century

An ivory and silver Shibayama tray decorated with three doves on the trunk of a blossoming plum tree, camellias and other flowers in mother-of-pearl, wood and bone on an ivory ground, the lobed rim of silver wire with ivory panels with flower sprays. Base of nashiji, signed Morimasa on an inlaid silver tablet. Late 19th century.
