A Historicist 14k gold, turquoise and diamond pendant

A rivière band of silver and 14k gold set with 33 graduated turquoise cabochons alternating with rose-cut diamonds in closed settings. Suspending a bombé form heart shaped medallion with anthemion finial, black and white enamel and set with 22 cushion shaped old-cut diamonds, 53 rose-cut diamonds, and 35 turquoises. The diamonds in total ca. 4.50 ct (I-L, vs2-si). Glazed to the reverse. In an old velvet case. With a later extension chain. L chain ca. 50 cm (incl. extension). Medaillon: Total H 4 cm. Total weight 39.6 g.
