A peack on rocks. Wood and lacquer

With an extremely long tail decorated with 'eyes', looking around and standing on a stepped, partly open-worked rock, carved in shitan wood, decorated with similar 'eyes' while the straight sides to the front and back are decorated with branches of red flowering and budding peonies in hiramakie. The plumage of the bird is predominantly green with much gold, the chest reddish-brown. Wooden box.
