A Meissen porcelain bust of a lady

Bust of an elegant lady in a feather headress on a round plinth, fired in two parts and screw mounted. Blue crossed swords mark with pronounced pommels, incised model no. K 185, impressed numbers, 18 in red. H 37 cm.
Model by Heinrich Schwabe, 1876/77, formed late 19th C.

This bust is based on Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun's portraits of Marie Antoinette painted after 1778.
