A Gothic chest

Red stained wood and oak, cast iron mountings. The front inset with four late Gothic panels with tracery, a cross, the Nomen Sacrum, "ma" in minuscule, a heart, and the arma Christi. The legs with insect damage, a horizontal shrinkage crack to the lid. H 80, W 152, D 64.5 cm.
Attributed to Northern France, utilising 15th century pieces.
