A 16th century North Italian bronze figure of a man with a barrel

Hollow figure, cast in the round, chased, and with old patina. Man dressed in an animal skin sitting cross legged and holding an open barrel in his arms, possibly designed as an inkwell.
Wear to the patina. Mounted on a stone base. Height 11 cm (without base).
